Weekly Yoga Classes for October, 2017
Tuesday/Thursday 3 – 4 p.m.: Chair Flow with Sarah Litterio
Everything you love about yoga: balance, strength, flexibility, without all the up and down off the floor.
Saturday 10 – 11 a.m.: Mindful Flow* with Sarah
Explore movement and breath with this mindful flow. Appropriate for beginners or those more experienced who appreciate slow stretches, moderately paced sun salutes and postures with time to settle, relax and enjoy. All levels.
*Please note there will be no Saturday Mindful Flow on 10/14 due to a weekend yoga retreat in the Studio.

About Our Teachers
Mari Anderson has been sharing the experience of yoga with the Washington Island community since 2004. She is a 200-hr. Yoga Alliance Certified teacher who endeavors to create a welcoming environment in which to share a lighthearted and flowing practice accessible to students representing a broad range of ages and levels.
She especially enjoys mentoring aspiring teachers, teenagers, and yoga-lovers at midlife (and beyond). “I’m happiest when students tell me they also practice on their own, wherever, whenever, because that’s when yoga really begins to shift and change lives in remarkable ways, both on and off the mat.”
Sarah Litterio became part of the Hotel Washington Studio’s program during the 2015 season and was soon inspired to pursue 200-hr. training with the Bay Area Yoga Center in Green Bay. She loves the energetic and physically rejuvenating aspects of vinyasa flow yoga as well as the meditative practice of yoga nidra, and looks forward to sharing both with her students.
“Pairing movement with breath allows us to be present in this moment and create space in the next. This practice has brought me a sense of calm and creativity I hope transfers through me as a teacher and guides my fellow yogis and those new to the practice in an equally stimulating experience.”
Grace Remke is a 200-hr Yoga Alliance Certified teacher through Amber Campion and Sofiah Thom. She completed her certification at Danyasa Eco-Retreat in Costa Rica in November of 2016.
Her students can expect to find a good mix of strengthening & energizing flows, and a balance of effort and ease within each class, with a focus on alignment in poses and breath-to-movement meditations. Her classes are accessible to all yogis, whether seasoned practitioners or beginners.
“I practice yoga to cultivate space and awareness within my own body, to cultivate this compassion and patience within myself so I can take what I learn on my mat, off of my mat into daily life. And I hope through my classes I can ignite a spark and inspire other fellow yogis to do the same! I live for those lessons waiting for me on my mat!”

Multi-class cards may be purchased from your yoga teacher before your first class. Yoga class cards may be used for either Mari, Sarah, or Grace’s classes. May not apply to guest teachers or programs.
